Each ornament is designed, engraved and laser cut in our studio in Illinois out of Baltic birch wood. **The wood for this product is sourced from self-sustaining forests in the Appalachian and Cascade mountain ranges of the US and into parts of Canada. These forests have been deemed self-sustaining since these forests now contain more harvestable wood than 100 years ago due to the best practices and ethical principles of the lumber harvesters within the regions.
